Background

A Malaysian electrical supplier based in Nilai received a large order from a Singaporean subcontractor working on a high-rise project in the Tuas Industrial Zone. The cargo consisted of copper-core electrical cables, coiled and palletized—some measuring over 1.5 meters in diameter. The goods needed to be delivered within 72 hours for a scheduled installation phase. As the client had never exported to Singapore before, they needed a logistics partner to manage everything from classification to customs to final delivery.

• Arranged for covered trucks to prevent exposure to moisture

• Coordinated delivery permits and time slot with the Singaporean construction site manager

• Provided on-site support at the Tuas site for unloading and inspection

Result

The delivery was completed on the second day, a full 24 hours before the project’s deadline. Site engineers confirmed the cables arrived in perfect condition with no deformation or moisture damage. The client was extremely satisfied and now uses our services for regular cable exports to Singapore.
